$100 Travel Scholarships Available for ISFLC

You asked, and we delivered!

Travel scholarships of up to $100 are now available for current students in North America, as well as Alumni For Liberty members, to defray the cost of getting to ISFLC16. We wanted to make sure that everyone in the SFL family was able to join us this February for the biggest libertarian student bash of the year, especially given all the exciting things going on at this year’s International Conference! Whether you’re coming to hear from the exciting array speakers including P.J O’Rourke, Yeonmi Park, and Pussy Riot’s Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, to hear Nah perform his hit single, or just to catch up with your favorite libertarians, it’s now easier than ever to get to the fun.

Scholarships will be provided through a reimbursement system. Just apply below, and we’ll follow up with more detailed instructions for how to submit reimbursement requests once you’ve made your travel plans. Best of all, the scholarship can be applied to any form of transportation – planes, trains, hoverboards, or whatever else the free market has cooked up to get you from point A to point B. Just make sure to save your receipts!

If you’re in North America and aren’t sure of the best option for getting to Washington, DC, you should also check out Rally Bus! SFL has partnered with this group bus service to help make things even simpler for you and to provide a cheaper option than flights. We’ve set up stops at 13 locations, heading non-stop to Washington and are open to adding more if enough interest is shown.

Terms & Conditions

To be eligible for acceptance, an applicant must:

• Be one of the following —
  • A current student attending a school in the United States or Canada
  • A current, dues-paying Alumni For Liberty member
• Have registered for ISFLC16 previous to submitting application.
• Attend ISFLC16 for the entire duration and a specific panel about SFL’s leadership programs (to be announced).
• Save and submit receipts for reimbursement after the conference.
