Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the 2015 ISFLC being held?
The 2015 ISFLC is being held at the Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, DC. More information about the hotel can be found on the Hotel Information Page.
Why did the conference venue change?
In order to accomodate the continued growth of the ISFLC, we decided to move to the Marriott Wardman Park. It’s a bigger, recently renovated facility, which will meet our needs for larger space during the conference. This is a beneficial change for attendees as well, since hotel prices are actually cheaper at this new location! For more information, click here.
How do I get to the ISFLC?

While the ISFLC (and all SFL programs) is focused on students, everyone is welcome to attend the 2015 ISFLC no matter what your age or status as a student might be.
Do I have to register in advance?
Registering in advance is highly recommended so you’re guaranteed entry and don’t have to go through the hassle of walk-in registration. If you are unable to register in advance, you are still welcome to come and pay at the door. Keep in mind that the price will continue to increase as the date of the ISFLC approaches, so registering early will guarantee you the best price.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for the ISFLC is business casual or better. Keep in mind this conference is not only great for gaining knowledge, it’s an opportunity to network and make contacts for future internships and employment, so dress to impress.
