FoxWe are thrilled to announce that former president of Mexico Vicente Fox will be one of the closing speakers at the 8th Annual ISFLC in Washington, DC on Sunday, February 15th!

Prior to serving as president from 2000-2006, Fox held numerous prominent positions in both business and politics including becoming the regional CEO of Coca-Cola for Mexico and Latin America, founding the Casa Cuna Amigo Daniel children’s home trust, and serving as Governor of Guanajuato. Ever since his term as president ended, he has continued to remain in the public spotlight, calling for reforms both in Mexico and around the world, particularly as a vocal critic of the war on drugs.

In a 2013 High Times interview, Fox argued that prohibition has been a total failure and praised Portugal’s decriminalization policies.

“We must be given the very freedom to decide our own behaviour and to act responsibly, as long as we do not detrimentally affect the rights of others,” he stated in a 2014 opinion piece.

Fox will be capping off an impressive weekend lineup, including speakers such as Dr. Ron Paul, Judge Andrew Napolitano, David Friedman, Congressman Justin Amash, John Stossel, and many more!
